ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Tim
Who is Tim McElderry?

I grew up in Ohio and earned an athletic scholarship to play football at Butler University. I graduated with a BS in Public and Corporate Communications in 1988, and landed a sales position at Marion Laboratories a full semester before graduation. After relocating to Springfield, Illinois, to start a career in the biopharma industry, I found my first opportunity to give back to the community through Big Brother/Big Sister. I was a “Big” for three years to two amazing young men.

I have held commercial leadership positions at 6 different biopharma companies including two start-ups where I built and led their sales organizations. I have spent hundreds of hours volunteering at food banks, homeless shelters, Boy’s and Girl’s Clubs, and earned the Ivan Martinez Community Service Award for restoring El Rescate, a Homeless Shelter in the Humboldt Park area of Chicago.

Soon after moving to Zionsville in 1999, I served on the Board of Directors at Zionsville Youth Soccer Association (ZYSA) while coaching various recreational and travel soccer teams over 12 years. I served as the “Voice of the Eagles” for the ZCHS Women’s Soccer team for 6 years. My fundraising efforts include charities like The National Kidney Foundation, the CLL Society, El Rescate, Fisher House, The Felix Organization, Girls on the Run, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), and the National Alliance for Hispanic Health.

I am currently the Director of Commercial Leadership Development and Market Access Training at a global oncology biotech company. My wife, Michelle, serves as a project specialist for a custom home builder in Carmel. My daughter, Brenna, is a physician at the Cleveland Clinic, and my daughter, Ashlyn, is a teacher in Jacksonville, FL. Our family also includes three dogs, Oakley, Roxie, and Finn, 10 chickens, and 6 ducks at our property on 875 E.
